Empowering Future Leaders of Tomorrow
SUEZ North America believes youth education and outreach are some of the best ways to positively impact our communities. Our goal is to help equip young minds with the knowledge to be successful and to make informed decisions about water and the environment. Whether through charitable donations or employee volunteering, SUEZ is dedicated to making a difference.
K-12 Tours & Programs
We want to help students understand where their water comes from and why conservation is so important. Whether you are an educator or a parent, we welcome you to find out more about our excellent school programs. They’re fun, informative and free!
Mentoring & Job Shadowing
Our employees are proud to volunteer with local high schools, working with students one-on-one to help equip them for success in business and life. Since its inception in 1994, more than 350 students have participated in the program.
Our internship program puts students to work at SUEZ facilities to gain valuable experience for their careers. In addition to learning about the water industry, interns participate in activities such as resume writing, college preparation, entrepreneurship lessons and environmental workshops.
Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation
We’re proud to partner with the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation—an organization dedicated to strengthening underserved communities and educating youth through baseball.
Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) is a workshop that provides teachers with innovative, water-related activities for students in grades K-12. Contact us to find out about the next workshop and take advantage of our fun and informative lesson plans for your class.
We offer free tours of our treatment plant to schools. Students and teachers can see first-hand how we purify drinking water. To schedule a tour, please contact us at 732-827-2068.
