SUEZ Wins the Smart Water Company of the Year Award at the Global Water Awards 2017
SUEZ won the Smart Water Company of the Year award at the Global Water Awards 2017. This award recognizes the companies that have contributed the most to the advancement of digital technologies in the water sector.
Created in 2006, these awards recognize innovating initiatives in the water sector, assessing:
- operating performance;
- innovative technology adoption;
- the use of sustainable financial models.
This year, SUEZ wins the "Smart Water Company of the Year" award.
In particular, it was stressed that SUEZ has an installed base of smart water meters, leak detectors and turbidity sensors which topped 100,000 in North America in 2016. Armed with its Aquadvanced toolbox, SUEZ continues to blaze a trail ahead of the competition, with the ambitious goal of reading every meter, every hour, every day.
Nominations are shortlisted by a panel of industry experts and the winners are voted for by the event’s subscribers, reflecting the views of the international water community. The other companies competing as finalists in this category were Gutermann AG, Iota Services and Xylem.
